We have just installed a Vokera Boiler which was a manufacture that the client requested. You can see from the picture we also installed a filling loop that takes water from the mains water and fills up the central heating.
As soon as we removed the old boiler we power flushed the whole central heating system to remove any sledge, debris and general build-up from years of old stagnant water within the central heating pipes and radiators. Most boiler manufacturers insist that before installation that the system is power flushed. This makes sure that any warranties and guarantees that come with the boiler will be kept.
We also made sure that the gas pipe was sufficient and within all current guidelines with pressure.
Once the system was installed we gave the whole central heating some quality inhibitor that stops any corrosion within the pipework for years to come.
Upon leaving the site we notified building regulations that gas work was completed to gas safe standards.
